Anushka is an actor as well as a producer in Bollywood. She is among the most highly paid actress in Bollywood and she is recognized for her performance. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988 at Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh to Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka's father, a former colonel is Anushka. Her mother works as domestic helper. Karnesh, Anushka Sharma's older brother, who was in the Merchant Navy is now a filmmaker. Anushka has finished her education at the Army School Bangalore. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Carmel College located in Bangalore. Anushka Sharma is a Master in Arts of Economics. Anushka had always wanted to become a model or a journalist or an actor, but she never thought of it as a profession. Anushka joined Elite Model Management after graduating and was trained by Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka debuted as a model for 2017 for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show during Lakme Fashion Week. He chose her as the finale model of the 2007 Spring/Summer Collection. Anushka Sharma has participated in several brand campaigns since she made her Lakme Fashion Week debut. This includes campaigns for Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma along with her modeling career joined an acting school and began giving auditions to movies. Anushka Sharma made her acting debut in the movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi featuring Shah Rukh Khan. To prepare herself for the screen-test, Anushka Sharma took a full day. Then she was a part of three films for Yash Raj Films. The role she played was that of an unwed bride and was married to a man of middle aged (the persona Shah Rukh Khan was portraying). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka appeared in the 2010 film "Badmash Company" alongside Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The film received mixed reviews. Anushka was in a movie called Band Baaja Baaraat with Ranveer in which she portrayed a Punjabi-American girl of middle class, who establishes her own wedding-planning company. The movie received positive reviews and proved to be an overnight success. With Band Baaja Baaraat Anushka's three-film contract under Yash Raj Films banner was complete.
